First, don't miss Erin's Thanksgiving post. It was still a draft when I posted the Jungle #1. That means it still shows up below that one.
Many of you have seen or heard of Robin Hood and his merry band of thieves. Roadblock, rob the rich carriage or charge a toll, give to the poor. Many of you have heard of the bad folks in Venezuela. Roadblock, kidnap you for ransom, maybe you live. On the way to well site to day we ran into a South Sumatra roadblock. It cost us 1000 Rupiah ($0.10) to get by.
So we turn the bend and there is a boy in the middle of the road. A boy holding a bucket. A five year old boy holding a bucket in the middle of the road at 6:30 am. That is, a NAKED five year old boy holding a bucket in the middle of the road at 6:30 am. The car slows down since there is a kid in the road. The kid calmly walks in front of the car forcing us to stop. The driver rolls down the window, gives him the money, and we move on.
Robbed by a naked 5 year old!
The good news is the well flowed today. The bad news is that was supposed to happen 2 days ago according to my schedule. Lesson #1 from the field: it doesn't always go as fast as you planned. Anyway, I will probably not get home until Monday now.

If you wanted to be really enterprising, you could set the triplets up at different entrances into your neighborhood and they could take over as the Tolling Triplets. They could at least earn their fare share that way...ha
