And We Are Off...

This past week has been a particularly busy week around our house. Justin went on a business trip to Spain last Saturday which meant extra responsibility for me. (Y'all will have to bug him for details about his trip.) And it seemed like there were lots of extra activities going on - Bunco, Grade 1 Reading Day, a botched alarm system installation, the start of after school activities, Jack staying home sick 3 days and an extra game of golf at the discounted holiday prices - along with our regular weekly stuff (soccer, Bible study, nightly homework). That on top of the fact that the month of Ramahdan is ending and some of our staff started clearing out on Thursday after work to head out to their kampungs and villages to visit family and friends to celebrate Idul Fitri. But we survived. Actually, we more than survived. It was a pretty good week. Although, we sure missed Justin. As I am typing this, he is on his way back to Jakarta from Spain. Right now he is somewhere between Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur. Also as I sit here writing this, we are doing our final packing before heading to the airport to fly to Lombok, another Indonesian island near Bali. Unfortunately, Justin will not arrive in Jakarta before we leave for Lombok so he will be meeting us there tomorrow. Thankfully, I have our friends, the McElligotts, accompanying me today. So, we are off to Lombok and will be back on Wednesday. Look for updates late next week.
