I was just looking on the blogs of our friends and family for new posts and then realized that I hadn't updated our own blog in awhile. Not a whole lot going on around here, but here is what we have been up to...
Baseball season continues. Alex and Isaac just finished up their last weekend of regular season games and will be starting a tournament this Saturday. There are only six teams in the league. So if you lose on Saturday, you are out of the tournament. If you win Saturday, you play on Sunday and then on the following Saturday. Our team was pretty dominant at the beginning of the season but as of late, we have had our struggles, so we will see what happens. Luke and Jack will have 2 more regular t-ball games the next 2 Saturdays.
In the down time on our weekends, our family has come to enjoy playing Settlers' of Cataan. Yes, the kids can even get involved. If you enjoy playing games and haven't tried this one, give it a whirl. A little strategy, a little luck and a new board every time. Justin's still trying to figure out how to beat me :).
For as low key as the last couple of weeks have been, not saying that I mind at all, business is getting ready to pick up. The big news is that Mamaw is making her way into town on Wednesday for a quick 10 day visit just in time to see the baseball games and celebrate Valentine's Day as well as Chinese New Year, which just so happen to fall on the same day this year.
